What’s covered — and what isn’t

A warranty that excludes nothing is a warranty nobody believes. So here are both sides of it.

Covered

  • The wheels

Jammed, worn out or broken — replaced, no argument.

  • Handles and telescopic pole

The parts that take the most punishment day to day.

  • The TSA locks

    Mechanism, dials and latch.

  • Material and workmanship defects in the shell

    Cracks, warping, rivets working loose.

  • Airport damage that leaves the suitcase unusable

A wheel torn off, a shell caved in so it no longer closes, a lock destroyed. Exactly the situation most warranties exclude. Not ours.

Not covered

  • Scratches and patina from use

Aluminium takes on marks. That isn’t a defect, that’s the material.

  • Surface marks from the airport

Scuffs, knocked corners and dents that affect neither the rolling nor the closing.

  • Loss and theft

That is a matter for your travel or home insurance.

  • Deliberate damage

And modifications that didn’t come from us.

How it works

No form, no expert report. One photo, one shipping label, and we take care of the rest.

01

Send a photo

An email with a picture of the damage. To begin with, that’s all we need.

02

We reply

Usually within 48 hours, with the shipping label attached.

03

Send the suitcase in

Stick the label on and drop it off. The shipping costs you nothing.

04

Back to you, repaired or replaced

We inspect the suitcase, repair it or replace it — and send it back to you.

Request a repair

Repair or replacement — whichever the damage calls for.

What “for life” means here

A phrase used often and defined rarely. Here is what we mean by it.

Duration

The lifetime of the suitcase. No expiry date, no registration.

Who it covers

The original buyer. Tied to the order, not transferable.

Repair or replacement

We repair where we can, and replace where we can’t.

If a model is discontinued

We replace it with the closest current model.

Frequently asked questions

The question isn’t how bad the damage looks, but whether the suitcase still does its job. Does it roll, does it close, does it protect what’s inside? Then it’s a mark of use. If it no longer does, it’s a warranty claim. We don’t replace a suitcase over a scuff — we replace it when it no longer rolls, no longer closes or no longer protects.
Yes, always — and in whatever condition it is in. We look at every suitcase before we decide. That is why we can repair rather than simply replace, and why this warranty holds up. We send you the shipping label, and the transport costs you nothing in either direction.
No. Your order is in our system. Just give us the email address you ordered with.
No, and that is deliberate. Scratches and patina are part of unpainted aluminium. A suitcase that travels shows it. What is covered is anything that affects how it works — not what changes the surface.
Nothing. We provide the shipping label for sending it in, along with the parts, the work and the return shipping.
Two different things. Within 100 days you can send the suitcase back without giving a reason and get your money back. The warranty applies after that, and permanently — it repairs or replaces rather than refunds.
